Delicious Movie Night Snacks!

Updated: Apr 4, 2020

While it seems the world is stuck on still with little more to do than Netflix & Chill I thought that now would be as good a time as ever to share with you my favourite movie snacks that you can make at home! Don't worry if you utilize the activities in our previous post "ways to keep busy while social isolating," you won't need to count those calories! * Sweet Chilli Heat Doritos with melted cheese, dipped in salsa and or sour cream! * Candy Pizza !

This has been one of my fav's forever and its super easy to make and fun for kiddo's! Start by flattening some chocolate chip cookie dough onto a pizza pan and then spread chocolate chips on the dough, and mini marshmallows (the chocolate will be your sauce, marshmallows will be your cheese), and add candy toppings! I usually keep mine simple with just smarties or M & M's but you can add whatever you like! then just bake until the marshmallows are golden brown, let cool and enjoy :) * Baked Brie & Pita ! This delicious snack is so easy to make and pairs excellent with a good wine and chick flick ! - your girl friends will thank me! Top it off with some flavour such as jam, or minced jalapeños! *Antipasta Skewers! Slide olives and blends of your favourite meats and cheeses onto skewers for a more effortless antipasto plate! *Popcorn! (of course of we couldn't have a movie night snack list without including the classic movie night snack!) *Spinach Dip & Pita or Crackers ! Spinach dip is actually surprisingly easy to make and a delicious, borderline healthy snack! There are plenty of great recipes online and once you've made it once you can tweak the recipe to make it your own, if your interested in MY spinach dip recipe, leave a comment below or send me a message and id be happy to share! As always please feel free to share you experience or favourite snacks in the comment section below! Stay Safe & Happy Snacking!
