Highlights @ The Ritz - Toronto
This past week, I found myself springing for a much needed get away for some R & R. My travel companion, was my fiancé and we decided to head out to Toronto. Our method of transportation was a 2018 Land Rover, Discovery Sport. <- Send me a message if you're interested in review of this vehicle.
The drive from Sudbury to Toronto was as usual - beautiful, and uneventful with a few stops for Starbucks when possible. ( Parry sound & an On route Station)
*Parry sound is another beautiful place to explore in the summer time, if you're passing through and have some time to spare I definitely recommend checking out their harbour and downtown area. * Our accommodations were downtown at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on Wellington Street. This is an amazing hotel to visit if you are looking to relax completely as their service is impeccable and unmatched in the area. We booked a suite with club lounge access. Our suite was beautiful and recently renovated and can be viewed in a video that can be found on our instagram @shessochiccc The room has some great feature's including great city views. ( We were on the 18th floor) 1.5 Bathrooms A heated toilet side with built in Bidet and many functions, controlled by remote, as well as other vintage design finishes such as the lamp pictured below. The Club lounge is located on the 20th floor and boasts beautiful views of Lake Ontario, Steam Whistle Brewery, The Rogers Centre, The CN tower and Ripley's Aquarium. With Club lounge access, you have access to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, snacks throughout the day, breakfast, and of course one of my personal favourite's the Ritz Carlton Candy Spread, at anytime throughout the day until 10pm. The Staff are always helpful and the atmosphere is beautiful. I found the club access really useful for cold beverages as there were no fridges in the room and it's also a super convenient place to grab a latte in the morning! We made reservations at Toca Restaurant, Home of the Cheesecake and visited Deq for a night cap. Both located in the Lobby of the Ritz Carlton and will be covered in a separate post as will be the Spa. All in all, the Ritz Carlton in Toronto is an amazing place to stay in Toronto, with world class customer service and 5 Star Accommodations, this hotel provides guests with an unparalleled experience that is out of this World. I look forward to returning again soon! xo * For more Photo's from this Trip, check out the "SnapShots" Page!
